  • 150 g okra
  • 500 g pork
  • 1 medium white onion
  • 1 medium carrot
  • ½ green bell pepper
  • 100 g tomato sauce
  • 150 ml water

  • Black pepper
  • Ground coriander
  • Dried oregano
  • Nutmeg

How to Prepare It

1. Prepare the pork

Wash and cut the meat into small pieces. Season with lemon juice, salt, garlic and spices.
I used cumin, black pepper, oregano, coriander and nutmeg.

2. Prep the vegetables

Wash, peel (except okra) and chop all vegetables into small pieces.

3. Sauté the aromatics

In a large pot, sauté the chopped onion and green pepper until soft and fragrant.

4. Add meat and okra

Add the pork, tomato sauce and remaining vegetables. Stir to combine.

5. Cook gently

Simmer for 20 to 30 minutes over medium heat, stirring once or twice, until the meat is tender and the sauce thickens.

6. Serve
